…Creases and I don’t know what to do! I use cream and powder shadows.
Creamy eye shadows usually contain waxes, oils and more which may accentuate lines.
Start by applying a sheer coat of foundation on your eyelids. This will create a barrier between your skin and the eye shadow shade.
Next I apply a shadow with a small eye shadow brush NOT my fingers. Between the oil from your fingers and the eye shadow it will help not add more oil.
Next, dust your eyelids with a light coat of translucent powder. I adore Chinese Rice Powder. But if you have another translucent powder brand you love use it!
The powder absorbs any excess oil.
If you still notice wrinkles look for a silicone not lanolin or mineral oil based eye shadow. You’ll get a smoother finish.
Hope this technique helps you with any eye shadow issues. Sometimes this helps even better than an eye shadow primer!
