Get Glowing with Pumpkin!

I love to cook and makeup in my kitchen and at my vanity.

Try this D.I.Y. and your skin will be on a pumpkin happy high!

In the fall your skin needs some love with something fresh and that gives your skin gentle exfoliation.

1/2 Cup of PLAIN old pumpkin (canned is OK too) Not the pumpkin pie one.

1/2 teaspoon of organic honey

Mix the two together. Let this mixture rest at least half an hour on the counter.

Apply on a CLEAN face. It will not dry perse and harden like a clay mask. This is a creamy mask.

The beautiful benefits of this mask are…your skin will soak the honey in and it will lock in moisture.

The pumpkin is really rich in anti-oxidants …Vitamin C,E and A.

Anti-aging and skin brightening. Your makeup will glide on silk and your skin will look better too.

D.I.Y. Snackin’ for Beauty!

Healthy Beauty Snack for those cravings we all seem to have  for crunchy and sweet!  

This  delicious recipe IS SO EASY to do…give it a whirl and try something new.

It is so good for you, your body and for prettier skin too!  

1 package of Goji berries

1 package of golden berry or gooseberry

1 bag pecans

1 package of cashews

1 package of pistachios (out of shell)

1 package of chocolate cocoa nibs I love making these by the bowl.

Stir up, for a dash of chocolate I like to add cocoa nibs and last. Place in mini bags and take on the airplane with you, in you car or at your desk at work. ALL of the ingredients are healthy in moderation and so yummy too. If you don’t like one or two of the ingredients skip it. Prepare as little or as much as you want.Then stir it all together.

The various nuts and berries are filled with anti-aging beauty,Vitamin E, A and zinc.They also are great for the immune system,vision,stress relief and cholesterol too.  Asians look at Goji berries as long life and good health musts! D.I.Y. Chic and Cheap Beauty

Vitamin C brightens the complexion,is anti-aging,evens out skin tone and really helps with those pesky sunspots.It also can help keep you looking younger. If you’d like to make your own at home try this!

Here is an easy recipe for a D.I.Y.Vitamin C Serum What you will need:

1 teaspoon vitamin C powder (found at Whole Foods or another store near you)

1 teaspoon of distilled water

1 teaspoon of glycerin (found at Whole Foods)

Small dark bottle to store it in…or clear or opaque if you are using this recipe within 24 hours

Directions: Place all ingredients in a small glass bowl until all granules dissolve. Stir well. Pour into a small dark glass bottle Apply a dime size for face and neck. Apply UNDER YOUR MAKEUP before moisturizer or at night after cleansing and toning the skin.

Play with it awhile to see what works for you. If you’d like to dilute it add a dash more water to it too.

Don’t just drink your  juice with vitamin C! Apply it topically on your face,decolette and the tops of your hands for a YOUNGER more even toned skin you.
