Maybe it is the shape of your brush?
The biggest beauty mistake women seem to make is using way too much blush! They simply don’t know what is the correct brush or use a heavy hand with that brush!
Here is my guide to show you how to apply it the right way and how to select the perfect brush for your blush.
Basic Blush Brush-this is a standard shape brush with a medium to long handle. If you bought it on the run and at a non-fancy big box or dollar store it is NOT going to give you a beautiful blush look.
Angle Brush-This brush helps to apply blush to create a contoured slimming the face effect with your blush. if you can bowl your face down an alley this brush is for you.Unless of course you like a more round face.
Blush/ Bronzing Blush Brush-This flat top beauty is usually perfect for applying bronzer or a kiss of blush color
Fan Brush-This helps to apply the precise kiss of color. Not too much not too soft. I highly recommend this brush for blush.
4 in 1 Blush- This brush is a multi-tasker for blush and other sections of the face too. It is must have in your brush wardrobe!
And if you get a brush inside the blush compact…Do yourself a favor and throw it out !!!
OR in a pinch use it as an eye shadow or highlighter brush. Just remember the shape is off and the quality is not the best.
FYI
The brush pictured is a travel brush for POWDER but I often see ladies in powder rooms using it for blush. Of course the blush looks over done and a hot mess!
I love this brush but only use it for what it is intended for…loose or pressed powder!
