AND let’s not forget those women in Poland welcoming all the women and their babies & children. Some who fed them with a warm soup. Others who dropped off baby strollers for moms once they arrived in Poland to help them with their children on their journey from Ukraine.

So, where do cooties come from? Where does that word come from?

I once read an article the word cootie comes from the Malaysian word ‘kutu”meaning lice. The word was first recorded when an American general in wartime used the word cooties as an all -encompassing word in a letter referring to the different bugs and lice he encountered in the trenches of battle. No one is quite sure how the word cootie has made its way to schools and the playground.
The other day I was on a Zoom call with a relative and noticed how her children played in the background with such wonder and passion. Trying to discover the next thing they could on the floor. I also noticed MANY things going into their mouths!!! All to happy to explore. I then thought on how much the unit I told you about called SterileLight Illumicide disinfecting case that I use in my beauty business to clean my makeup and skincare,disinfect my makeup brushes and more can be used with babies and in children’s rooms and things. I knew it was great for baby bottles and teething rings but looking around even more at these nine month old babies and another 2 year old what a necessity it could be.

Today I shared on TV what you can do and how much fun it can be!
So, I finally bought one!!!
I have watched women,some men and children’s mom’s roll this round sphere on their lips! But it looked so awkward to apply. AND much larger than a set of lips!
So, first as I unwrapped it out of the wrapper and tried to open the container. Call me lame and uncoordinated but I could not get it open for what seemed like forever.
So, once I finally opened it the scent was AMAZING! Cause anything coconut milk count me in!
Next I rolled with much care the wax like dome over my lips…WOW that was no fun and quite the experience. It didn’t feel as luxurious as rotating and applying my lipstick or other lip balms on my lips. It rubbed have my face makeup off and made my lips feel blah.
I wanted to LOVE it! But I didn’t even like it. I hated using it. And my lips were dry as can be after using it. So, you say give it another whirl. Well I did! Day,night,exercising and sleeping in it. It just wasn’t for me!

Today at the TV station I was doing a segment on all things Chocolate Beauty and having a Girls night In or a spa night with your sweetie.
While setting up my DIY yourself spa treats I heard a familiar voice over my shoulder. I have a GREAT memory for voices and accents too. It was a man with a northern accent. Being from NYC and NJ this accent warms my soul and reminds me of home.He asked me what was I doing and what were all the things. I was so focused on what I was doing I did not turn around but answered his questions. He told me he loves chocolate.
When I was all done…I tied my apron on and saw a familiar face to go with the voice.It was the next guest for the show had arrived and he too was waiting his turn. Then the camera crew started setting up some GORGEOUS,colorful paintings and it all came together to me. PETER MAX the world-renowned artist was in front of me!!!
Before I did anything else I put my hand on my heart and said I thought that was YOU and your soothing voice too”. He smiled and cupped my cheeks in his hands and kissed me! YES, he kissed me not once but bunches and with a happy smile on his face. Did I mind? NO, they came so quick and from a man who appeared so kind and romantic.
Something we definitely see in his artwork! I have always been a fan.
I asked if I could take a photo of him. He posed perfect and then he was up to go on set and be interviewed.
After his interview on his guest appearance/event at the Ponte Vedra Cultural Center he was ready to leave. The news crew had put my microphone on and I had to go LIVE in seconds.No time to say a proper goodbye.So across the studio on a commercial break I whispered with a loud voice…”Goodbye,Mr.Max”. He immediately turned around and blew me some air KISSES with his hands.
LOVE was and is in the air today and my ST. Valentine’s Day started in the most fabulous way!!!
There are ALL kinds of love.Husband and wife love,BFF love d the love of your family and children love. But this kind of stranger love winked at me today in its own special way. I embraced this life moment and happy I MADE HIM SMILE.
There is a beautiful saying I am not sure who said it and if I am completely writing it right.
