Fall DIY Lip Scrub

Brown Sugar Lip Scrub 10-2014Fall is finally here!

Say goodbye to dry LIPS with this awesome scrub I have been making it and using for years especially in the fall and winter when your lips start to get more dry. Before I make Sunday brunch for my Southern husband I wanted to whip up something special for me in my kitchen.
Today I am going to show you how to make a treatment scrub for your lips. Doesn’t the photo I took of it look delightful? Smells good too!

Honey Cinnamon Lip Plumping & Exfoliating Scrub

What you will need is:

1 tablespoon of Honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of Organic brown sugar

I prefer quality local honey from the farmers market or a stores like Whole Foods NOT the Dollar store. I mix all these into a small glass bowl with a mini whisk or fork.Take the paste and apply it to your lips.LEAVE on your lips at least 10 minutes.Next rub them gently with your finger or use a baby’s toothbrush. Then rinse off with luke warm water and a wet warm wash cloth.
The beautiful benefits are that the honey makes the lips softer. The brown sugar exfoliates and the cinnamon acts as a lip plumper.Have any leftover…save and it will keep at least another week in a tight sealed jar.

Oh my husband just woke up gotta run! ENJOY my recipe dahlings!
