All Eyes on YOU!

If your practicing social distancing and doing the right thing by wearing a face cover or mask your face is not fully seen when you are out and about. That is why your eyes are NOW the center of attention. Here are a few tips I shared on TV yesterday that you might want to consider and ADD to your EYE beauty routine.

Quarantine Fatigue is a real thing I have it too. We look tired even if we got rest. bUt you can do something about it. GUYS can do some of these tips too.

Refrigerate your eye gel or eye cream. It will FEEL so cool and refreshing when you apply it.

Cucumbers DO work when you place those thin slices on each eye and close your eyes and take a quick nap to rest. Bye Bye Puffy stressed out eyes.

Buy eye masks made of gel or paper or in capsule form…they are filled with ingredients to hydrate, calm and brighten up the eyes.

Experiment with a salmon or yellow concealer. Tap on a few dots under and around the eyes. Pat and blend in softly with your fingers.

I think and always  say “An eye lash curler is like a BOOB Job for your lashes! It lifts them and curls them and is great to use even if you don’t have mascara available. Especially if you are out of your fave mascara.

If you don’t want your mascara to run and smear down and around your eyes…Try Blinc mascara. They say “Don’t paint your lashes tube them.”  The brand does NOT run and you won’t have racoon eyes either. Defines the lashes nicely and removes the tube coating  on your lashes with warm water and a washcloth. Unlike any other mascara you ever tried.

OR use a CLEAR mascara for definition without a tint.

As for wearing eye shadow try wearing a single color like a matte nude, champagne or soft gold hue. Don’t fuss with lots of color. Just add this to highlight your eyes.

Line the eyes with a cocoa, gray, or blue. I live in a creamy gel pencil eyeliner. But I love to define my eyes in this color. If your eyes are deep set or you have tired looking appearance you might want to steer clear from black. Just keep it simple. Especially for the day and the times were in.

I hope you enjoyed these tips and tricks just for your eyes!

Take care of yourself NOW more than ever.

Your Vanity…a little space just for YOU!

For those of you who love 💕 makeup and to put on your 💄 makeup this post is for you. For those of you who don’t use much makeup you’ll still enjoy it and learn something new!

Self-care Sunday is all about taking care of yourself and have a little fun doing it!

Now to make your life easier and beauty rituals you need to carve out an area just for you and all your beauties too.

Just make sure you don’t arrange your makeup and skincare directly in the sun ☀️ sunlight. It will ruin your makeup and skincare formulas, lighten your hues, and make your makeup melt too.

I like to separate and organize my makeup brushes, blushes, eyeshadows, 💄 lipsticks and more in a pretty way. I’ve used and repurposed antique plates, tea cups or wine 🍷 goblets. I have also have found some gorgeous display items at TJMaxx, Kirkland’s, Hobby Lobby and more. You DON’T have to spend a fortune $

The important thing is that all your products and things are at your fingertips! Ready when you are.

Another thing I found was from a cocktail 🍸 container. Allow me to explain. I enjoy entertaining with a product called Cocktail Caviar and I love the jar. I couldn’t stand to throw the empty container out. So, I cleaned the jar out and filled with fluffy pink 💕 cotton balls I found! It has a lid so dust doesn’t get on them and keeps them dust free.

See below!

I love Mother Earth 🌍 and have learned to recycle more! It feels good to do it too.

I like to add a fresh seasonal 💐 🌸 🌻 flowers to my space. And I also keep an aloe plant 🌱 on my vanity just in case. Aloes are great for sunburns, curling iron burns and any allergic reactions that come up on the skin!

A hand mirror is always a good idea too! Not just the main one on the wall.

I also keep bottles of sparkling water 💦 and mini bottles of 🍾 Champagne in a mini fridge by my vanity. It is  by Cooluli…I store my face masks, creams, toners, jade roller, agate roller, massage stones, makeup in.

Sometimes the best things in life are small!

I love my life in the beauty industry!

I wear many hats in my life in beauty. I so love being a small business owner in America and being the designer of my indie beauty brand. I also am passionate about educating at spa and beauty shows across the country.

BUT my fave thing to do is making women happy that means YOU too!

So, I promised I will share what’s in my mini fridge by Cooluli the 4L classic…that I featured on TV in  my beauty segment on WJXT the other day.

The possibilities are endless! You are only limited by your imagination.

But first…

I am a Northern girl who moved to Florida for my husband. But being MADLY IN  LOVE I soon discovered Florida is VERY VERY hot, steamy and humid. Not a winning combination for my hair and skin. I GET REALLY HOT! They say Southern girls don’t sweat they glisten. Well that’s proof I am a Northerner as I sweat. From hair to toe! So, I am always looking for ways to keep cool.
