Today I stopped by one of my favorite big-box discount stores. I enjoyed my quick browse and shop run down the aisles of the store.

The checkout was next. A woman in her late 30’s or more browsing the aisle at the register with all the OTHER items they want you to buy told me to go ahead of her on line. So, I did. As I waited I heard clicking sound of things being picked up and like put down and back. This went on minutes. I turned around and what did I see? This woman was TRYING ON 💅 the shelf filled with nail polishes!!!

Every color or so it appeared!

🤢 Yuck! 😡 I was so mad. I could not believe my eyes! I wanted to tell her do you know how unsanitary that is?

Do you know they have a price on them because the nail polishes are for FOR SALE! NOT for you to try on.

I looked around for someone in management but no one was around and I was pressed for time.

Have you ever experienced this?

It is a health hazard and can spread bacteria and germs! That’s why non-discount stores have testers. Testers are for you to be able to TEST drive the colors, creams or fragrance.

My beauty words of wisdom for the day! End of rant.

YOUR thoughts???

Whats a girl to do… BB,CC,DD or EE?

What do you use?
Do we REALLY need another two letter trend word?
Maybe there for the lazy girl who doesn’t like to do anything for day or night care as they are just too lazy.BUT they want fabulous skin.

BB Cream stands for a trend started in Asia a few years ago the letters stand for Blemish BalmThis cream claims to hydrate, brighten, even out the skin with a touch of foundation built-in.

CC Cream stands for Color Correcting evens out skin tone usually with light reflecting particles and contains anti-oxidants.Also recommended for people with sallow or redness.

DD Cream stands for a Daily Defense Cream like a BB but with sunscreen added even more anti-aging ingredients to address fine lines and more.

EE stands for newest cream Enlighten Effect this cream claims it will really take care of your dark spots (Hyperpigmentation) lighten them and make the skin more even toned.

They are like the Who’s Who of beauty politicians who want you to vote and buy them.
I for one personally speaking am NOT convinced we need any of them.
In the meantime I will enjoy the feel of my fave moisturizer, enjoy the beautiful benefits of my sunscreen and use what I want one cream at a time. Each one offers me a little piece of fabulous to help keep my skin looking good.

BUT do we REALLY need another two letter trend word?
Let me know…let’s chat.
I am exhausted just writing about them never mind buying them and using them on my face and body.
