I so love 💕this!

I used to work for the designer Diane Von Furstenberg in NYC. One thing that stood out with me is her love for 👗 dresses!

After all she created the first wrap dress! I owned so many of them! And felt like a million in them!

Now as time goes by I am on a passionate all things lips 👄 high with another awesome designer with a huge creative and playful touch of whimsy!

Designer Betsey Johnson!

Do you love her too like I do???

Isn’t this dress a adorable?

The Beauty of Diane Von Furstenberg

FGI_LogoTxt_193U_hiresCounting down to Fashion Group International’s event to show fashion, design and beauty pro’s the Fall/Winter 2013 color and fashion trend presentation forecast in the one and only New York City.I also look forward to meeting and seeing the faces behind the names of fashion and beauty editors and a fashion blogger.

A woman I continue to admire and worked for in NYC is moderating the event. Diane Von Furstenberg… I truly can’t wait to see and hear her.She is a smart, sexy, charismatic and above all fashionable woman who taught me so much about life and business including her original mantra “Feel like a woman wear a dress.” That mantra stuck with me for years and I am so glad it did. She is so right it does make a difference wearing dresses and skirts versus pants and pant suits.

I own many of her infamous wrap dresses, cosmetic bags, scarves, purses, rain coats and blouses.I even have lipsticks and perfumes from her cosmetic and fragrance launch. Diane is a fashion icon and does more than design clothes! She does many other good works and more woman should follow her lead. http://www.dvf.com Looking for a good read at the beach or on a long weekend this summer? The Beauties of the SAG Awards

Just my quick take on the SAG Awards 2013. I was so happy to not be on a makeup assignment and be able to sip Chablis and watch them on TV.
Did you happen to watch the show too?

My fav’s:
Actress Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing her dress was a classic and unique mix in a midnight blue hue.Her red lips and hair shouted HOLLYWOOD too!

Nicole Kidman’s hair which an insider told me was done by hot hair stylist David Babaii did that amazing new solid bob haircut with a sleek, super straight gorgeous style.
The hair products used are my new find It&ly Hairfashion products. I love this brand!
Her black illusion dress with flowers was amazing.

Kerry Washington looked beautiful in a white dress that looked like a bustier too.She always looks amazing~

Naomi Watts hair was like a sexy old Hollywood beauty and dazzling in chic sleek dress.

Jane Krakowski lit the red carpet with her orange dress.

Sofia Vergara looked stunning in Donna Karan and as always she rocked her decollete!!!

The unique accessory on a celebrity was Penelope Cruz with 4 tiny gold beads in her ear…I thought they were jewels but later learned they were accupuncture beads to center and calm her spirit.
I must try those beads with my accupuncturist. Did you see them?

I loved, loved, loved the Lorraine Schwartz lavender jade necklace that Amanda wore!

The STAR whose dress missed the mark? Julianne Moore…designer dress that did NOTHING for her BODY,breasts or face. Where was her stylist?

What did you think? Share with me!

Lessons learned on the red carpet…celebrity or not. Don’t let the dress wear you. YOU should wear the dress!
