What are those?

People often ask me…What are these?

Our beauty products come with mini plastic spoons or spatulas and for continued safety and sanitary reasons they are coming with our beauty products even more. These spatulas are to keep you from getting germs and bacteria in the jar of foundation, cream blush or your favorite dream cream.

These tools really prevent you from getting your fingers into the container. Dirt, oil, dust can get on your fingers and hands and get in and contaminate your beauty products. The germs 🦠 can spoil your products, make them less effective and maybe even break you out. Now you don’t want that do you?

They also measure and give you the right amount of product so you don’t waste any. I love to use them. I use them a variety of ways. Once you play with using them you’ll discover that too.

I also like when a brand comes out with a pump anything because it too gives you the right amount and keeps you safer and clean.

So, if you happen to get these mini tools. Don’t throw them out. USE them. They work wonders. They are washable and reusable.

And if you don’t own any mini spatulas or spoons they are starting to be readily available at beauty or hair supply stores like Sally’s!

Be safe, love the planet šŸŒ and don’t waste!

These adorable mini tools work wonders!

Cooties!

Germs 🦠 are all around us and our precious little ones are at risk now even more.

So, where do cooties come from? Where does that word come from?

I once read an article the word cootie comes from the Malaysian word ‘kutu”meaning lice. The word was first recorded when an American general in wartime used the word cooties as an all -encompassing word in a letter referring to the different bugs and lice he encountered in the trenches of battle. No one is quite sure how the word cootie hasĀ  made its way to schools and the playground.

The other day I was on a Zoom call with a relative and noticed how her children played in the background with such wonder and passion. Trying to discover the next thing they could on the floor. I also noticed MANY things going into their mouths!!! All to happy to explore. I then thought on how much the unit I told you about called SterileLight Illumicide disinfecting case that I use in my beauty business to clean my makeup and skincare, disinfect my makeup brushes and more can be used with babies and in children’s rooms and things. I knew it was great for baby bottles and teething rings but looking around even more at these nine month old babies and another 2 year old what a necessity it could be.

The COVID-19 pandemic is making us thinkĀ  beyondĀ  just washing our hands to the entire tune of Happy Birthday to keep our hands clean. Children and our homes and home offices need to be protected and so do all our belongings and things.

Here’s a list of a few things I thought you can disinfect too and in just a few minutes:

Baby bottles

Sippy cups

Kitchen utensils

Food Bowls and plates

Teething rings

Hair brushes and combs

Nail clippers etc.

Baby Toys

Children’s toys

Story books both made of paper and plastic

Small baby blankets

Small plush toys

Clothing

And I am sure you can dream up and think of a whole lot of more things you’d like to disinfect. As I mentioned before when you discover something that you love and you know others would too. YOU simply have to share. So one day do yourself and your family a favor and learn what SterileLight can do for you, your entire family and your entire home too. I don’t work for the company I am simply thrilled about this new technology and what it does. It disinfects and sanitizes using a germicidal and bacteria killing light.

Yuck!

Today I stopped by one of my favorite big-box discount stores. I enjoyed my quick browse and shop run down the aisles of the store.

The checkout was next. A woman in her late 30’s or more browsing the aisle at the register with all the OTHER items they want you to buy told me to go ahead of her on line. So, I did. As I waited I heard clicking sound of things being picked up and like put down and back. This went on minutes. I turned around and what did I see? This woman was TRYING ON šŸ’… the shelf filled with nail polishes!!!

Every color or so it appeared!

🤢 Yuck! 😔 I was so mad. I could not believe my eyes! I wanted to tell her do you know how unsanitary that is?

Do you know they have a price on them because the nail polishes are for FOR SALE! NOT for you to try on.

I looked around for someone in management but no one was around and I was pressed for time.

Have you ever experienced this?

It is a health hazard and can spread bacteria and germs! That’s why non-discount stores have testers. Testers are for you to be able to TEST drive the colors, creams or fragrance.

My beauty words of wisdom for the day! End of rant.

YOUR thoughts???
