Cold Outside D.I.Y.!

Today I will share on TV on a talk show called The Chat a few magical things that are HOT in the world of nails!

Here is one of my EASY recipes you will enjoy over and over again for your hands and feet.

It is snowing in autumn? Your skin and nails are flaky, dry, tight and getting dehydrated by the minute even though winter is 33 days away!

Oil Beauty Bath

1/4 cup of olive or grape seed oil (I like to use Whole Foods 365 Value Brand)

Heat oil on low in saucepan for a minute to get a warm temperature NOT hot.
Pour into a small soup bowl or buy a nail soak bowl from a beauty supply.
Place your fingers into the warm lush oil for at least 8-10 minutes.
Push back your cuticles afterwards with an orange wood stick.
Your nails will look so much better.
Blot your hands of oil and enjoy the hydrating skin glow.

Fabulous Footsie Facial

footsteps-in-the-sandA FACIAL FOR YOUR FOOTSIES!

Last summer weeks to get an exfoliating sand facial for your feet. If you don’t have time to get away that’s OK. Try this!

These delightful recipes are from your kitchen cabinets and refrigerator. Your feet will feel refreshed and good to look at!

¼ cup of oatmeal
¼ cup cornmeal
2 tablespoons of sea salts
3 tablespoons of grape seed oil

Add enough water to make a spreadable foot scrub out of the above.
You may add a dash more or less of anything. A shot of your favorite essential oil is also a nice idea! I like to add a dash of mint peppermint oil!

Spread this concoction on your tired soles and leave on approx.
10-15 mins. Sloughs off dead skin, refreshens and moisturizes.
