The All I have is Five Minutes face!

I know you’re busy were all busy especially around the holidays. Lately I have bumped into clients out and about town who come or have come to my makeup studio in sunny Florida. However, they cover their faces and tell me please don’t look at me. I look awful. That’s kinda sad don’t you think?

If all you have is five minutes here is what you need.

A sheer foundation like Not Your Mothers Foundation or a powder foundation in a compact. Apply a sheer amount on your face staying away from your eyes and lips.

Next,blend a dash of concealer in a lipstick tube.Apply where you need coverage…eyelids, under eye and on sun or red spots.

A dash of  eye shadow all over the lid…Look for a shade like a Champagne,Pink Champagne or a soft beige gold hue.Yes all you will need is one shade. NOT two or three.

YES, mascara is  optional but liner is a must…it not only lines your eyes and accents them it also can create the look like you applied mascara but it is only eye liner eye pencil you have on. You actually don’t need both.

A kiss of blush or powder bronzer applied with a fan brush to give a warmth to your complexion.

A swipe of lipstick,lip gloss or lip balm…wraps up the look.

See how fast and  so EASY this 5 minute face can be to do? There’s no excuse why you can’t do this too.

Beauty TIPS:

• If you are still partying and have guests over this long weekend.Before your guests arrive or even if it is you alone with your pet. Prep with a ripe avocado face mask for softer skin while you cook.
• You can also apply a hair mask on your hair and place a shower cap over it. Your body heat from running around the kitchen will make it work faster and condition your hair.
• Put your sandals on and apply a dash of olive oil on your toes and condition your toes and nails while you whiz around the house with that vacuum cleaner.

Double duty beauty time and get your cooking,cleaning and beauty fix in too!

 

 

 

The gift of …The Perfect Red Lipstick!

Last night I attended my first Christmas party of the season with my husband for his business. Over cocktails I quickly discovered women who loved my lips and wanted to know how can they too create the perfect red lip!

I thought you’d like to know this too.So here you go!

The Perfect Tips for Red Luscious Lips!

• You must start fresh with clean hydrated lips.
• Apply my  Kissy Lips lip exfoliating Treatment or make a mixture of brown sugar and honey for your lips.
• Apply my Perfect day Lipstick base
• Optional:Add  a coat of  China Doll lipstain next to make the color last even longer.It will stain the lips with a rosy stain and make the red hue cling better too.
• Apply red lip liner or an invisible lip liner that is transparent yet locks color within the lip line.
• Apply a luscious red lipstick or a red liquid lipstick (they are all the rage).
• Blot your lips with a fresh tissue or blotting paper.(not powdered just plain)
• Apply a second coat if you wish to make your pout look bolder.
• DON’T rub your lips together. Little old ladies do that!

*To make this look even sexier like the makeup artists do in a VICTORIA SECRET runway shows or magazine shoot.Add a dash of a silver or gold lipstick Next add a super shiny gloss in the center of the lips for a sexy highlighted glow. A shimmery way to glow and make the lips look fuller!

Look Hot for the Holidays in minutes~

Looking good feels good.

I don’t make up my face for my husband or anyone …but me.

I love playing in makeup~ Always put your best face forward darlings.

First: Cleanse with the best selling Clarisonic, refresh with our rosewater and hydrate your skin. For longer lasting makeup, you will need to apply a face primer.

Apply dots of your concealer flesh colored and or yellow or salmon for dark circles. Blend with our Makeup Magic wand.

Next, apply a richer formula foundation like my peaches and cream formula for soft looking super coverage.

Set the above with our Asian rice powder.

Shape your lips with our invisible lip liner for a no line look perfection.  You don’t want your hose to run nor your luscious lipgloss or lipstick.

Then fill in with our lipstain, lipstick or our lip-gloss. 

A spun gold or deeper gold eye shadow is a magical eye transformer. Brush this one color all over the lid.

A deeper shade of eye shadow can be applied to the outer corner or around the rim of your eyes to outline.

Blinc mascara is a lash defining finish. Try a color for fun or use a soft dark brown instead of black.

Blush applied on the apple of the cheek in circular motions.

My sisters, girlfriends and I love to make gifts of beauty and relaxation!

They are so fun and inexpensive to make especially in this economy. I am tired of hearing about the bad economy too. But here are some things you can  create gifts from the heart. Christmas, Chanukah, or I love you this is for you. I will be posting a NEW one daily for you to enjoy.

 These are my personal recipes that are tried and true and people who got them really loved them too! Their still talking about them.

Today it’s all about the body!

JOJOBA shimmering Body Lotion

1 16oz.  bottle with a pour squeeze spout

1 tablespoon of or less  of a loose glimmering eyeshadow or body powder

Depending on how much shimmer you want your body lotion to have use less if you want less shimmer.

If you make this recipe it can make many gift giving bottles and make one for you too! (It all depends on the size bottle you use)

If you’ve bought this from the store you know they usually cost up to $50.oo!

Sprinkle in to the moisturizing jojoba, shake well mixing the two together into a nice glass or plastic bottle.

*Adding a drop of essential oil adds fragrance. But I like it without it. This way I can wear my fav’ perfume.

Tie a bow and you are good to go and GIVE it!
