TODAY on my beauty and lifestyle segment on TV on River City Live I’ll share a few pre-wedding beauty and gift idea tips.

Green is the new black

Sometimes you have to go to the basics and as I continue down the path of eating more clean,care even more about what I put on my face and BODY and love Mother Earth by recycling as much as I can.

I wanted a reminder to women that going green is beautiful. So, I am about to come out with a green lipstick hue to remind them.This fun hue stains the lips and puts you in a good mood too.

Whatever your emotion is…it will tell a story of your mood from deep pinkish rose to soft violet. Counting down to Earth day I think this lipstick is a perfect fit. Take a walk on the green side. If you liked the mood ring …this is your thing!

Sugar Me up!

Tis’ the season for sugar and  all the tempting sweets that come with it!

It is also the time of the year to kiss lots and the weather can give us the driest lips!

I like to make and use this D.I.Y. when I ma ready to KISS under the mistletoe and my lips get dry from rapid change in the weather  or times your lips simply need a moisturizing plumping boost.

My recipe is simple~

1 Teaspoon of honey (organic is my fav’)

1 Teaspoon of brown sugar (organic is my fav’)

Stir the two together for a lip softening treatment at home! Apply to clean lips and rub back and forth with your ring finger. Leave on at least 3 minutes and repeat rubbing process again.

Rinse with warm water on a wash cloth or flat round cotton pad.

Apply your fav’ lip balm afterwards.

Kiss the night away and ring in the new year with soft lips!

 

Quench Those Lips!

KISS your lips with this~

The holiday is winding down and knowing you…you most likely over did it in the sun. Moisturize and make your lips softer tonight and go to sleep with this.

What you will need to get softer kissable lips is:

1 oz.coconut oil

1 oz. aloe (not the green one the clear gel)

A sprinkle of rosewater ( I use rosewater they use for baking for this recipe. But you can try some other scent.)

Stir all of the above and place in a mini jar.
