Back from an amazzzing trip to NYC…

My first time since the pandemic! WOW!

It has been too long!

It rained, it snowed and the sun finally shined. It was a crazy busy but fun time.

The International Beauty Show and the Esthetics Cosmetics and SPA Conference were great!

The class I taught went well.

The attendees of beauty pros and beauty business owners came from all over the world! I love meeting people from all over the 🌎 globe. So grateful to the smiling faces eager to learn in my classroom for Advanced Workshops.

The show floor bustled with happy 😊 shoppers! They were stocking up and exploring products and beauty supplies and equipment for their beauty practice or spa or salon business.

COVID put a kink in our lives and travel plans for work and play but it looks like New York is coming back! Slowly but surely.

I so love 💕this!

I used to work for the designer Diane Von Furstenberg in NYC. One thing that stood out with me is her love for 👗 dresses!

After all she created the first wrap dress! I owned so many of them! And felt like a million in them!

Now as time goes by I am on a passionate all things lips 👄 high with another awesome designer with a huge creative and playful touch of whimsy!

One of my top obsessions!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE…ALL things office supplies!

I love the colored organizers,desk chairs in hot colors, blinged out staplers,colored writing pens,Sharpie maker pens,rubber bands in all hues and the colorful beauty of writing and printer papers. The crazy part is I think I might love office and paper supply stores just as much as lipstick and that is epic.

I just visited The Container Store and roamed the store for hours! I am addicted. It is my happy place besides being in my own store.The second I get into a store like this or a paper/card store I love the smell. The thrill of being there. Do you like it too? Do you have a passion for office supplies too?

I LOVE anything beauty but am also an avid foodie. On a business and pleasure trip to Chicago this week I had to stop at this awesome hot spot where the locals eat and live just a cab ride from downtown and the wonderful shopping on State Street that great street. Flo and Santos is the name of the restaurant and bar where two lovers who became husband and wife turned their nationalities (Polish and Italian) and food passion into a place to have a cold pitcher of Polish beer,Vodka Shots Journey and devour pizza with sauerkraut,bacon and kielbasa OR have it the Italian way just plain yummy cheese. Or make it a dessert pizza or Polish donut bathed with caramel and chocolate sauce and made with love. No matter how you slice it… Pizza and pierogi those darling plump bites of various yummy fillings. You’ll love Flo & Santos. Down to earth pricing,fabulous and unique food and a cozy  twist do the polka all in one place. This place rocked my hips and my lips. You must try this place when visiting or lucky enough to live in Chicago. You don’t have to be half Polish like me to enjoy it~
