Schools Out! What can you do with…

…Your daughter or granddaughters?

Summer is still here and your daughters and grand daughters are still out of school.

Here are a few fun things to do with them this summer!

Today I shared on TV what you can do and how much fun it can be!

• Bonding time:Do a little makeup at home day. Show them how to apply a little lipstick or gloss,a blush,nail polish and or a bit of glitter. A little goes a long way.

• Show them how to take care of their hair or braid the hair …Barbie Hair conditioner for detangling works wonders!
• Teach them that SUNSCREEN is a best kept beauty secret! Protecting their face and body from the sun is very important.Use dolls as demo’s.
• Enjoy making or serving yummy refreshments like fruit infused water,pretty pink lemonade,candy,Pez and or yummy  pink cupcakes.Make it like a beauty party!
• Another fun idea is:To show them how they can write a story book and they are the main character.All they need is an empty unlined notebook and some markers  or crayons. Encourage them to be creative.
• Princess Patch Parties is  a local company if you’re lucky enough to live in Jacksonville Florida in the Murray Hill section of town that offers birthday and mini spa parties with facials and a little mani & pedi outing. • Lip gloss D.I.Y. with you and or their friends with a MINI bar of Hershey’s chocolate or some crushed up candy mixed with a  dash of OrganIc coconut oil from Whole Foods Market. You will need to assist children with this in the microwave for a few minutes. What you’ll have is a shiny,lip softening lip gloss.No it won’t last you’ll watch them lick it off and laugh the afternoon away.

On the Go again!

Never a dull moment. How’s life with you?

Starting to pack my makeup bags and luggage. I am so ready to work and rock  New York City too. As much as I travel for work and play…packing is always a challenge when I have to fly for my work.Between the beauty supplies needed as a working make-up artist. So many rules too much beauty and clothes! I want to take every lipstick and walk in closet with me!

Other than working which is my fave’ thing to! I look forward to taking it all in…the city that is and the many things it does for my spirit and soul.I miss living up north.

I am wild about this shade …it is like a violet with a touch of pink ! Do you like this hue? 

I am hoping to find clothes and accessories in this hue! May even create a lipstick in that shade for my cosmetic line too.

Today I did my Morning Show WJXT-TV 4  Beauty and Lifestyle Segment and I covered nail care and trends. Wish you lived here!

Here is what’s hot in OPI & nail beauty…

I am mad about pink anything.  The sparkling glitter nail lacquer  is a mauvey,pinky,silver,gold and can be worn with the shade in this kit, any other OPI shade  or  alone. My Pretty Bra Addiction~

I used to never wear a bra. I loved being a free spirit and let the twins hang out. After I became a professional make-up artist and went into the business of beauty. I decided that wearing a bra was more professional. So, my journey and bra shopping started. They have come a long way baby and so have I.

I love my bra’s and they love my breasts. I seem to be attracted to that pretty pink store with the lingerie. You know Victoria’s Secret! She rocks my world.

Whoever she is or if it is a man…really don’t know but that store started a bra revolution and  brought sexy back. Bra’s come in all shapes and sizes but my fav’ is all the rainbow of shades.Lacey,racey and soft to the touch. The animal prints are yet another story. I love to walk on the wild side too!

Bra’s….They keep me tucked in, bouncing & behav’in and controlled. Sometimes naughty…sometimes nice. I love my bra. The latest sexy baby to my collection is the PINK one! See it on my shower curtain? It’s fun to collect them, sexy to wear them and makes me happier in them. Don’t lose yourself and wear the same old bra in that same old boring color. There is a rainbow out there.
