Love Rice? Me too!
I NOTICED readers like my blog recipes for face and food and that you search for recipes for rice flour a lot.
As you may know I love to eat rice and wear it too on. Check out my face mask recipe in a previous blog if you have not tried it yet. Your skin will glow.
So, here’s a recipe and a mix I found that I simply had to share with you. There is an amazing health food store in Gainesville, Florida I love to drive to even though it is over an hour from my house….it’s called Wards and it is the food bomb~ LOVE this place. Love shopping from local farmers and small business owners too~
1 EGG
½ CUP LIQUID (WATER,SUGAR-FREE FRUIT JUICE, MILK, ETC.)
2 TBSP. SUGAR
2 TBSP. CANOLA OIL
1 CUP BOB’S RED MILL WHITE RICE FLOUR
2 TSP. BAKING POWDER
½ TSP. SALT
2 TBSP. CHOPPED NUTS
¼ CUP RAISINS OR CHOPPED DATES
¼ CUP BLUEBERRIES OR 2 TBSP. CAROB CHIPS (OPTIONAL)
*Over the holidays I made them with dried cranberries.
MIX in 1 quart measuring pitcher until well mixed. I used a hand held mixer so call me old fashioned.
Bake in a greased 6 cup muffin tin at 425 for 17 to 20 minutes. Keep the light on in the stove and baby sit them with your eye ball.
Cool and enjoy with coffee, tea and thee.
