Nailed It!

The latest trend that snuk up on me is one a client told me about! I just had a nail party with my fingers and toes in my hotel room with a thing called Nail Strips. The Brand name is Color Street nails. What fun!

Here are the deets:

They come in glitter,solid hues and fun nail art designs too. Also available for pedicures.

They are like applying a sticker.

Lasts up to 10 days!

Removes easy with nail polish remover. Preferably with moisturizers.

My absolute favorite is “Tokyo Lights” which is like a rose gold on steroids. So sparkling and gorgeous! I also am in love with Charmed and Dangerous which is a lip 💋 theme and pink polish nail strip. So ME!

It took a 5 minute learning curve for me.😜 But I did it and it was so fast and pure fun!!!

Another friend test drove them and shared with me it does not come off easily. She just birthed twins a few months and has a  toddler too.She said it lasted with diaper changing,washing hands,cooking cleaning,bathing …SHE was amazed at the superior performance and the gorgeous hues they come in.

 

Party Eyes!

DON’T just sit on that couch this weekend and or New Years Eve…

Steal the show with a more daring and bolder you!

Step 1. Apply concealer. I like a salmon or yellow beige hue they work wonders on the eye area and on any facial imperfections like brown spots,broken capillaries and more. Blend well.

Step 2. Add a dash of color on your eyelid all over to the brow bone. Try a pretty Champagne Gold for a soft kiss of color.

If you want to use a shadow primer first that’s fine too.

*Another version of this party eye is with a Sterling Silver or Rose Gold or a coppery hue.  It doesn’t have to shout I have on eyeshadow or shimmery eye shadow.

It is ENOUGH to wear one color all over the lid. I promise.

Step 3. Line your eyes with a gel eyeliner pencil in a brown or brown back shade.Apply to the inner rim on the top of the inner eye at the lash line.

Step 4. Add a Lash Lift lash primer to your clean lashes. This hydrates your lashes and adds a bit of lash volume.

Let it dry. Apply a teal or eggplant mascara. These hues opens up the eyes,brighten up the whites of your eyes and makes you look less tired.

Repeat another coat of mascara.

Step 5. Brush brows with my WOW Brow and Clear Mascara in one.

If you need color or to fill them in use a brush on brow powder or a brow pencil in feathery strokes first. Brush after you let it set a couple of minutes.

Step 6. Add a little bit of glitter around the eyes if you want to sparkle a bit more.

My message here is you don’t have to use a boat load of eye shadow like the girls of Instagram and YouTube.

A little bit of  color goes a long way,Beauties!
