Day 4 Gift Idea for HIM!

I LOVE to make a special treat for my husband,family or friends from time to time. Christmas is the perfect time of year to create one!

I go to antique malls and other stores and collect bottles and jars I like and save them for D.I.Y. gift giving.

One of my favourite stocking stuffers or gifts to give is massage oil.

An easy massahe oil recipe is:

1 1/2 cups of jojoba,sunflower or almond oil as the massage oil base. (depending on the size of your bottle you might need more). Add a few drops of an essential oil (pure and quality one. Not a a cheap one)  My husband has loved the relaxing lavender as well as sweet orange or sandalwood. A little essential oil goes a long way. Shake so the oil and the fragrance make love together.Add a hand written card that entitles HIM to a relaxing massage one and only you. You might want to add a candle to set the mood too.

 

Another well received D.I.Y. recipe is a jar of relaxing bath salts. It can be made as simple as filling a container with epsom salts and sprinkling in a few drops of eucalyptus oil and a sprig of aromatic roesmary from your garden on top.

Add a ribbon,tag with instructions on what it is and a lush sea sponge or brush and you have  completed this gift!

As I mentioned before you don’t have to spend a fortune. It doesn’t have to be a designer anything. Enjoy the little things that can turn intobig things.

The Holidays are here…Love is in the air…it’s almost Christmas. Stress less and enjoy the beauty of now!

Today on TV I’m sharing some unique and fun ideas for gift ideas just for the man or men in your life. Husband,boyfriend,son,grandpa or”bestie” guy.

Some I have given to my husband and some ideas are so imely for today!

The thing is we often think we need those gifts to be LARGE in size and price! And designer brand names too! But I have learned that’s not always necessary. With a little age comes wisdom. The holidays don’t have to be so stressful. It isn’t even our Birthday!!! (YOU know the TRUE meaning of the Christmas season)

Sometimes the most awesome gifts are from your heart and with a little reflection and thought when it comes to that special someone!

Pumpkin Pie Holiday

I know you love pumpkin! We cannot seem to get enough of it.

Coffee,beer,muffins,bread,pie and more.So here is another one of my recipes for a my pumpkin pie body scrub in a jar. Pumpkin puree contains beta-carotene and anti-0xidants,brown sugar helps remove dead skin. Olive oil and a vitamin E pill (prick and squeeze out the oil) and OR use oil by the bottle add even more of the moisturizing your skin bliss.

1 can pumpkin puree (you’ll need 1/4 cup) Go for the real thing.

2  cups of brown sugar

2 tsp. olive oil or jojoba

optional:1 tsp. vitamin E oil

1/4 or 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (this will make the body scrub even more luscious and have the aroma of cinnamon,nutmeg and cloves). I like to sprinkle this on top!

Stir this all together and you will have an amazing scrumptious body scrub and wonderful for your heels too! It is like a pumpkin pie slathered over your body!

I like to make gifts in jelly jars for myself or someone else!

Add a mini spoon,bow,love note and you’re good to go.

Nice stocking stuffer or hostess gift add a pumpkin pie or a bottle of sangria to your gift and who ever you give it to will really love you.
