Valentine Gift 🎁 Ideas!

Today on TV 📺 on WJXT 4 in sunny 🌞 Florida 🌴 I am sharing gift ideas you can make at home.

Here are a few ideas:

Create a Spa, Nail 💅 , Skin OR Bath 🛀 gift in a jar. All you need is a recycled if you have large round jar or it could be a tall one. But it needs to fit the things you want to put inside. Keep it in a theme and simple. Don’t clutter fill the jar. Add a ribbon 🎀 and note card and you’re good to go!

I created on TV a Gift in a Jar that is all about the nails! I found cool Color Street nail strips! So unique and FUN. I added a nail file, a nail brush for hands and feet. A relaxing epsom salt foot bomb fizzy,

Make HIM a beard 🧔 or mustache oil … his skin and beard will 💋 be more soft and get him ready for lots of kissing. All you need is almond oil and a drop or two of essential oil. Mix and shake the two! Pour in a user friendly bottle.

Buy a Chinese Take Out box fill it with rice and a coupon for a meal for two! Or better yet an I LOVE ❤️You Take Out gift card. Add a set of designer chopsticks 🥢 and a fortune cookie (with your own message in side) and you’re all set. This is a unisex gift idea!

Make a lip balm with your daughters or niece. Small or big. They will love it. Just take a mint or candy cane from Christmas and smash it on the kitchen counter. Mix in a microwaveable bowl a teaspoon of organic coconut oil a few pieces of the crushed peppermint candy.

Microwave it a few seconds. Watch it melt down. Let it cool. Pour in a small jar. Add a lip brush and they will have softer skin with yummy peppermint 👄 lips!

* FYI optional: you can add a small drop of peppermint oil for more intense flavor.

Nothing like giving a LOVE ❤️ letter. I wrote a short one on a sticky note and stick it on the mirror a few years ago to my husband. He liked it so much it’s STILL on his mirror in the bathroom. It is a reminder simply saying ” I love you” XOXO your wife!

I hope these ideas get you going! There are so many ways to show your love. And it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money!

Chocolate SPA!

Yesterday I featured on TV a few of my fave recipes for a Girls Night In or something fun to do with him! I created these recipes from Whole Foods ingredients my fave’ store!

Valentine’s day shoppers kept me busy at my studio…so here are the recipes to glow on with chocolate!

Here are a few of the recipes to enjoy!

Yummy Chocolate Balm 1 small plastic or glass jar 2 soup spoons of Coconut oil organic Microwave the above. Fill a jar  and let it harden a bit and add the following… 4 White or Dark chocolate drops like you use to make cookies Close the lid and it is ready to give or enjoy.

Cocoa Face Mask 2 tablespoons of Greek plain yogurt 1 tablespoon of organic cocoa powder unsweetened 1 generous drizzle of Agave nectar or honey Stir them all together and you’ll have a creamy and dreamy face mask! Apply on the face with a fan brush or with your fingers. Pretend you are icing a cupcake. Leave on 10 to 15 minutes. It will firm up gently on the skin. Rinse with luke warm water and a washcloth. Enjoy the luxurious feel and scent of fresh cocoa powder filled with antioxidants and your face will FEEL awesome. Mom’s Easy Guide to looking pretty!

I did a beauty and lifestyle segment on The Morning Show today and wanted to share with you some beauty and fashions secrets.

Mommy Makeup in minutes

First of all… you don’t need to wear a buffet of beauty on your face. Keep it soft and simple for daytime.
A tinted moisturizer…like Not Your Mother’s Foundation which has both a touch of foundation in a bottle of moisturizer.Pretty coverage and protection too.This is mult-tasking beauty at its best.

If you don’t want to use this type product and prefer less…at least apply a broad spectrum sunscreen like COOLA mineral sunscreen. If you love organic and unscented they’ve got you covered too.

Next add a few dots of salmon or honey yellow concealer to take away a pooped out appearance…around the eyes and the inner corner of the eyes too. Blend with warmth of your ring finger.

Next add a kiss of color to your cheeks with a soft brown bronzer with a dash of shimmer. Or choose a pinky peach for another type of healthy glow.

A lip gloss or a lip balm is the lazy girls go to product.
