Lip oils, Lip balms, Lip tints, Lip stains, Glossy Lips, Matte Lips, Lip Plumpers, Shimmering Lips. After years of face masks I’m so happy we are celebrating … LIPSTICKS💄

💋 What can I do if your lips are looking dry, peeling or flaky?

Try a DIY lip scrub or I like a Mango 🥭 lip scrub by Nature Pure Labs. It will exfoliate your lips gently and make your lipstick glide on beautifully. I also recommend a baby’s tooth brush with a bit of coconut oil or a lip exfoliator ring from the Dollar Tree.

💋 Drink more water 💦 or liquids! Your lips may be dry from thirsty body and dry skin.

💋 What should could I do to make my lipstick last longer?

Use a lip base. I use Perfect Day Lipstick base. One coat before you apply your favorite lipsticks. It will really work wonders. It makes colors remain true and not change on you.

💋 What color can I use to make NEW lipsticks out if my old lipsticks?

Give them a makeover with Lip Tricks. This product my lips 👄 stick look awesome and also lightens up dark colors you bought but don’t like.

💋 I hate the look of a lip liner but want my lipstick to stay in place and not run outside my lips. Is there something I can use?

A Pretty Yummy D.I.Y….

So can I mention how truly crazy busy I am especially this time of year? I know you are too…

I so wanted to post but my retail business has us helping Santa 8-10 hour days!!!

We are shipping glam galore. But I wanted to post something on my blog timely that you might want to make or do with your daughter,grand daughter or sister.

I truly LOVE  to D.I.Y. over the holidays especially. They make perfect gifts for YOU or for someone else! This Candy Cane Kisses lip gloss recipe can be made with traditional candy canes and with Jelly Belly flavored candy canes.They are so colorful and yummy!

What you will need is:

1 CANDY CANE

1/4 cup of fresh organic coconut oil (Or you can use Vaseline)

Simply smash the candy cane on the kitchen counter.

Put the above a few pieces of candy and a scoop of coconut oil in a microwaveable bowl.

Place in a microwave and melt them both.

Stir well.

Pull out and let it cool on the counter but before it hardens…

Scoop the two up and place in a small  jar.

What you’ll have is an awesome yummy candy cane FLAVORED lip gloss.

*FYI if you prefer to make a peppermint balm infused with a stronger flavor of peppermint add a drop of food grade peppermint oil.I love adding a few of the smashed pieces inside.Fun to look at and festive.

The coconut oil feels amazing on the lips.And softens the lips. The delicious refreshing mint or Jelly belly flavors and colors make it even more fun!

Mom’s Easy Guide to looking pretty!

I did a beauty and lifestyle segment on The Morning Show today and wanted to share with you some beauty and fashions secrets.

Mommy Makeup in minutes

First of all… you don’t need to wear a buffet of beauty on your face. Keep it soft and simple for daytime.
A tinted moisturizer…like Not Your Mother’s Foundation which has both a touch of foundation in a bottle of moisturizer.Pretty coverage and protection too.This is mult-tasking beauty at its best.

If you don’t want to use this type product and prefer less…at least apply a broad spectrum sunscreen like COOLA mineral sunscreen. If you love organic and unscented they’ve got you covered too.

Next add a few dots of salmon or honey yellow concealer to take away a pooped out appearance…around the eyes and the inner corner of the eyes too. Blend with warmth of your ring finger.

Next add a kiss of color to your cheeks with a soft brown bronzer with a dash of shimmer. Or choose a pinky peach for another type of healthy glow.

A lip gloss or a lip balm is the lazy girls go to product.
I also LOVE and highly recommend a creamy lasting lip stain like the ones on http://www.noreenyoung.com. They stain your lips with a nice rosy glow and are one step not three. Not drying nor do they make the lips peel or flake…just gorgeous healthy looking lips.

Add a KISS of gloss on top in the center and repeat the same to the bottom center of the lips. Secret of makeup artists~

While out and about…and you are eating a rich garlic meal…clean your mouth by eating parsley from your plate or MINT from your iced tea. It works!
